WPSApp is a network security tool that assesses the vulnerability of your network by examining the WPS protocol.

The WPS protocol enables you to connect to a WiFi network using an 8-digit pin number, typically pre-set in the router. However, many routers from different manufacturers have pins that are either widely known or easily calculable.

This application leverages these pins to attempt a connection and determine if the network is susceptible. It incorporates multiple established algorithms for pin generation, along with default pins. Additionally, it can calculate default keys for certain routers, display WiFi passwords stored on the device, scan connected devices, and analyze WiFi channel quality.

Utilizing WPSApp is straightforward: while scanning nearby networks, secure networks are indicated by a red cross, signifying that the WPS protocol is disabled and the default password is unknown.

Networks marked with a question mark have the WPS protocol enabled but an unknown pin. In such cases, the application enables testing of common pins.

Lastly, networks with a green tick are likely to be vulnerable as they have the WPS protocol enabled and a known connection pin. It is also possible for a network to have WPS disabled but a known password, which would also be displayed in green and allow for connection.

To view passwords, Android 9/10 users must have root access and some additional functionality enabled.

IMPORTANT: Not all networks are vulnerable, and being labeled as such does not guarantee 100% vulnerability. Several manufacturers have released firmware updates for their routers to address this vulnerability.

TEST IT ON YOUR OWN NETWORK AND IF YOU ARE VULNERABLE... TAKE REMEDIAL ACTION. Disable WPS and change your password to a strong, personalized one.

Some Samsung models use encryption and do not display actual passwords; instead, they show a long string of hexadecimal digits. Please consult internet resources or contact me for instructions on decryption.

The pin connection feature does not work on LG models running Android 7 (Nougat) due to a software issue with LG's proprietary software.
